Recording and monitoring of parameters as a precondition for optimized remediation measures

The collection of robust data is an essential foundation for the description of the state of soil and groundwater. Only on such a basis can verifiable evaluations, for example on the need for remediation, be made and effective remedial measures derived therefrom.

At GICON, exploration and monitoring are based on state-of-the-art monitoring methods and the utilization of specialized laboratories. Thus, robust statements on the structure and nature of the investigated subsurface can be made, changes can be closely monitored and remedial measures can thereby be optimized.

Using appropriate methods such as monitoring networks, we collect all relevant data for subsequent analysis. With our specially-developed radon surveying technology, soil contamination can also be localized. We can also collect samples, if needed.

One of GICON’s core competencies is the operation of monitoring networks. Detailed information can be obtained with this method, while costs for the client are simultaneously kept as low as possible. Through modeled task specifications for sampling and analysis, a high standard of quality is assured. In addition, intelligent data management ensures the efficient flow of data from the actual survey to the plausibility analysis and data processing and finally to the decision makers.
