1. Recording of generalized data and information (log data)

Your browser sends a series of technical data when accessing our web pages, which are logged by our domain host, IT Heinrich UG. Mr. Eike Hübenthal, Dipl.-Ing. (FH) also has access to this data in the context of maintaining the content management system of our website. Your IP address, the name of the file retrieved, the date and time of the retrieval, the data volume transmitted and the successful retrieval are recorded in a log file. The browser used, the operating system of your terminal device as well as the set language and time zone can be saved. You can prevent this by changing your browser settings. However, the website remains usable for you.

All data in the log file is without direct reference to personal data and will in no way be merged with other personal data. We register your accesses for data security reasons in order to ensure the stability and operational security of our systems and to prevent unauthorized attacks. It also provides the best possible representation of website content on your device. The data in the log file will under no circumstances be passed on to third parties. The log file is deleted seven days after the data is recorded.

2. Contact via the website

Due to legal regulations, our website contains information that enables quick electronic contact with our company and direct communication with us, which also includes the e-mail address. If you contact us by e-mail, the personal data transmitted by you will be stored automatically. Such personal data transmitted on a voluntary basis will be stored for the purpose of processing or contacting you. This personal data is not passed on to third parties.

3. Subscription to newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, your personal data will be transmitted to us and stored in a database managed by Mr. Eike Hübenthal, Dipl.-Ing. (FH) as part of the content management system. The input mask used for this determines which personal data this concerns. Our e-mail newsletter is sent by the technical service provider CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG ("CleverReach"), to whom we forward the data you provided during registration for the newsletter. Information about CleverReach's data analysis can be found here:

https://www.cleverreach.com/de/funktionen/reporting-und-tracking/

You can view CleverReach's privacy policy here:

https://www.cleverreach.com/de/datenschutz/

You can only receive our company's newsletter if (1) you have a valid e-mail address and (2) you register for the newsletter. For legal reasons, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you have registered for the newsletter for the first time using the double opt-in procedure. This confirmation e-mail serves to check whether the owner of the e-mail address has authorized the receipt of the newsletter.

The personal data collected when registering for the newsletter will be used exclusively for sending our newsletter. Furthermore, subscribers to the newsletter may be informed by e-mail if this is necessary for the operation of the newsletter service or for registration, as could be the case in the event of changes to the newsletter offer or changes in the technical conditions. The personal data collected in the context of the newsletter service will not be passed on to third parties. You can cancel your subscription at any time. The consent to the storage of personal data that you have given us for the newsletter dispatch can be revoked at any time. For the purpose of revoking your consent, you will find a corresponding link in every newsletter. It is also possible at any time to unsubscribe directly from the newsletter dispatch on the website or to inform the data controller using other means.

4. Newsletter tracking

The newsletter tracking is accomplished with the help of the technical service provider, CleverReach. The GICON - Grossmann Ingenieur Consult GmbH newsletter contains so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic embedded in e-mails sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and analysis. During log file recording, the e-mail client you use to read the newsletter, the browser type and the IP address are recorded and stored. The log file analysis enables a statistical evaluation of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns. On the basis of the embedded pixel-code we can recognize whether, when and how often an e-mail has been opened by you and which links you have called up in the e-mail. Tracking links in the newsletter also measure whether, when and how often you have clicked which hyperlinks in a newsletter.

The personal data collected in this way is stored and evaluated in order to optimize the newsletter dispatch and to adapt the content of future newsletters even better to your interests. You are entitled at any time to revoke the relevant separate declaration of consent given via the double opt-in procedure. After revocation, the personal data will be deleted. GICON - Grossmann Ingenieur Consult GmbH automatically interprets unsubscribing from receiving the newsletter as a revocation.

5. Routine deletion and restriction of the processing of personal data

We process and store your personal data only for the period necessary to achieve the storage purpose or insofar as this has been provided for by the European Directive and Ordinance Provider or another legislator of laws or regulations under which the entity responsible is subject.

If the storage purpose ceases to apply or if a storage period prescribed by the European Directive and Regulation Regulator or another competent legislator expires, the processing of personal data is routinely restricted in accordance with statutory provisions, or the data is deleted.

6. User rights

You have the right to receive information about your stored personal data free of charge upon request. In addition, in accordance with legal provisions you have the right at any time to object to the correction, deletion, restriction of processing, revocation of your consent under data protection law and to the processing of personal data relating to you. Please contact our data protection officer in writing. E-mail: datenschutz@gicon.de; Mail: GICON - Großmann Ingenieur Consult GmbH, Tiergartenstraße 48, 01219 Dresden.
You have the right to complain to the supervisory authority (e.g. the Saxon Data Protection Commissioner), if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you is unlawful.

7. Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps to display maps and to create route maps. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of the data collected automatically and the data you have entered by Google, one of its representatives or third-party providers. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we are not aware of the content of the data transmitted or how they are used by Google Maps. For more information, see the Google Maps Terms of Use and the Privacy Center of Google.de: Transparency and Choices and Privacy Policy.

8. Legal basis of the processing

Article 6(1)(a) DS-GMO serves as a legal basis for processing operations for which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, the processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) DS-GMO. The same applies to such processing steps that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures, for example in cases of enquiries about our services. If our company is subject to a legal obligation which requires the processing of personal data, for example to fulfil tax obligations, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(c) DS-GMO.

Ultimately, processing steps could be based on Art. 6(1)(f) DS-GMO. Processing steps which are not covered by any of the aforementioned legal bases are based on this legal basis, if processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, provided that the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the affected do not prevail.

If the processing of personal data is based on Article 6 (1)(f) DS-GMO, the legitimate interest lies in carrying out our business activities and maintaining our legal capacity.

9. Embedding Youtube videos

YouTube videos are embedded on our website. This is not done through plug-ins, but by incorporating the URL with iframes (small windows displaying another web page) in enhanced privacy mode. The domain will be replaced by the official YouTube Nocookie domain. According to the information currently provided by YouTube, using this variant will only save information about visitors to the website when they are playing the video, but not just by simply calling the incorporating website. For more information about the collection and use of data by YouTube and your rights to protect your privacy, see the privacy policy at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/.
